Let’s concede the Los Angeles Rams cannot actually draft Brendan Sorsby in the upcoming NFL Supplemental Draft, and forget about that and instead ask: Would you want the Rams to take a chance on Sorsby?
Would this all even be as a big a news story if Sorsby wasn’t an interesting quarterback prospect? That being said, to gamble on Sorsby is a risk, but you could argue that drafting any player is a gamble. However, Sorby’s situation is unique. Then again, aren’t they all?
Whatever happens or doesn’t
happen I think I can say the Sorsby situation is one that will be continue to watched. We’ll see what happens.
Thank you for checking out Turf Show Times and have a great Wednesday! We’re getting closer to Friday.
“You never know. Teams could be so scared away from the gambling stuff that maybe a fifth or a sixth round pick will get him. Talent-wise some scouts have said that he had the potential to be a #1 overall pick, so there is a lot of ability there at a premium position.” -Ape Face
Andrew Berry on Brendan Sorsby: The most important thing is what he does from here (nbcsports)
““I think there are two things,” Berry said. “There are two questions I ask, because we’re all human and I’d imagine everybody that’s on this call and listening to this show, I’m sure everyone has made mistakes. I really ask two questions: I ask, No. 1, is this a bad person, or did they make a bad decision? And then the second piece is, what are they doing after the fact … to correct the behavior. Is this a pattern of decision-making? And if so, have they done something to stop the pattern? Or is this an isolated incident? Because the reality of it is, we’re all going to screw up. And some, certainly, mistakes are greater in magnitude than others.”
Rams fans will understand better than anyone if Aaron Donald declines an encore (ramblinfan)
“Rams executives and coaches would love to welcome Donald back. He is nearly a demigod in league lore. He arrived every offseason in game-day shape. He held himself and his teammates to the highest level of preparation and preparedness. He never failed to seize game-changing moments in LA’s favor. AD was one of a kind.
He may choose to leave his legacy at that. He stepped away from the game of his own volition, not because his body couldn’t take it or because his level of play fell off. Donald retired an All-Pro First Teamer in 2023. He decided he was done.“
Random Ramsdom Fandom:
“Losing LT Jackson for an extended period of time is my biggest concern. We saw how terrible it went without him vs Atl and the Rams schedule is brutal so we need him playing.” -LaRams4Life
