It’s time to take a look at our SB Nation Reacts results for this week, ladies and gentlemen. Let’s take a look at how everyone responded to our questions this week, shall we?
Yes, we shall.
As always, our first question for this week was whether or not you feel that our favorite football team is trending in the right direction. After tearing off five straight wins to begin their 2026 season, fans are finally starting to feel pretty good about things concerning the purple.
Of those who responded to
our survey, 79% feel that the Minnesota Vikings are heading in the right direction. As of now, they’re one of the league’s three remaining undefeated teams, and one of only two who are sitting at 5-0. After this week, they could still be one of two 5-0 teams, depending on how the Kansas City Chiefs fare, and could find themselves behind a potentially 6-0 team from San Francisco that plays on Monday night. Still, they won’t see anything but a zero in the loss column for another week, at least, and that feels pretty darn good at this point in time.
That leads us into our other question for this week, which is when you think the Vikings might see something other than a zero in the loss column. We looked at the next four games on the schedule and asked which of them might give the Vikings their first loss, or whether you thought they could go into their International Series game in Mexico City against the aforementioned San Francisco 49ers with a 9-0 mark. It doesn’t appear as though the majority of you think they’re going to get there unscathed.
Of those who responded to our poll, 40% of you feel that the first time the Vikings will take a loss this season will be in their next prime-time appearance, when they host the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football in Week 9. That’s also the night that Adrian Peterson will be inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor. Another 31% of you think that the team will lose when they make their annual trip to Ford Field two weeks from Sunday to take on the Detroit Lions. There are 18% of you who do think the Vikings will make it to Mexico City to face the Niners without a loss, while 7% of you think the first loss will come on the team’s trip to Lambeau Field in Week 10. And, yes, there are 4% of you who believe that the Vikings’ next loss will come the next time they take the field, that being when they host the Indianapolis Colts at U.S. Bank Stadium a week from Sunday, fresh off their bye week.
I do tend to lean more towards the majority on this one. I’d like to think the Vikings and the Niners are going to have a battle of unbeatens on Sunday Night Football in Week 11, but Josh Allen and company are going to be a tough task, even at home. It’s going to be interesting to see what Brian Flores is going to have in store for that Buffalo offense. But of those next four games, I think that’s the best chance for the Vikings to get knocked from the ranks of the unbeaten.
Those are our SB Nation Reacts results for this week, ladies and gentlemen. As always, we’d like to thank all of you who took the time to participate in our polls for this week, and we’ll have another one for you early next week as well.
