WELCOME TO MOVEMBER!
It’s time for our sixth annual Movember Charity Drive, where we raise money for charity for the entire month of November. In addition to raising money, we’ll also be giving away prizes, running an auction, and doing a bunch of silly and humiliating stuff over on our YouTube and Twitch live streams.
Here’s everything you need to know about our 2026 Pride of Detroit Movember Charity Drive.
Charities (two this year!)
For the third straight year, we are again raising funds for the University of Michigan Health
Rogel Cancer Center, specifically for their Men’s Cancer Research Fund. Voted the highest rated center for cancer care in Michigan by the U.S. News & World Report’s Best Hospital rankings, the Rogel Center is at the cutting edge of both cancer treatment and research.
Donations collected through our fundraiser will go directly toward supporting groundbreaking research, raising awareness, and providing critical resources to patients in need.
We are also representing a second charity, with fundraising happening exclusively through our auction. That charity is the House of Providence, Michigan-based intervention program that aides in helping kids in foster care with educational programs and other support systems until they can find a forever home.
How to donate through our campaign
If you want to donate to our campaign for the Rogel Cancer Center: Simple! Just head to our donation page here.
To support our charity drive for the House of Providence, check out our auction section here (more information below). Direct donations to the House of Providence are always very appreciated, but those will not go towards our final total, as we have no way to track them.
Donation rewards
After Movember is over, I will email donors who have reached this level of donation (it can be through multiple donations, as long as they’re made under the same name/email), and if you qualify, you can cash in for the following rewards:
- $100 — Subscription to POD Direct into preseason 2027 (If you’re already a subscriber, you can gift it!)
- $250 — Cameo-type personalized video of your choosing
- $500 (new this year!) — Private group Q&A with Erik and Jeremy
- $750 (new this year!) — POD 2028 calendar (more info below)
- $1,000 — Be a guest on the PODcast
Donation incentives
There are also individual rewards you can earn with a single donation. To redeem a donation incentive, please make sure to list your choice in your donation message.
Here are the individual rewards you can earn automatically by donating (can only choose one with each donation):
- $25— Write word/short phrase on podcaster’s face
- $50— Mute podcast host of your choice for 1 minute
- $100— Change Jeremy’s green screen background
- $300 — Egg smashed on someone’s head
- $500 — Host will do a celebrity impression for at least 30 seconds (must be appropriate)
Auction items
Our auction is going to be a little different than in previous years, but way bigger and way better.
Our friends at Encore Legacy Auctions are handling the auction this year, and they have HUNDREDS of items for several different sports teams available. Five percent of the winning bids will go to the House of Providence.
In addition, we’ll have several Pride of Detroit exclusive items where 100% of the proceeds will go to House of Providence. That includes some experience-based auction items, including:
- Grab a drink with Jeremy and Erik
- Play a round of disc golf with Jeremy
- Have a virtual NFL Draft prospect film watching session with Erik
We’ll also have some Detroit Lions swag that will be added to the auction later this month.
Donation goals
Last year, we raised over $32,000. This year, we’ve got loftier goals and even better incentives along the way. Here’s what will happen if we collectively hit some milestones:
- $5,000 — Activates PODcast host punishment by Lions (see below)
- $10,000 — POD team runs a 5k
- $15,000 — POD staff has to reveal high school photos
- $20,000 — JCPenney-style photoshoot, resulting in a POD calendar (available for $750 donation)
- $25,000 — POD team does public karaoke of Toto’s “Africa”
- $30,000 — Jeremy learns and records a TikTok dance
- $35,000 — Jeremy reveals a comedy sketch from his past
- $40,000 — Jeremy gets frosted tips, a la Skyler Gill-Howard
- $45,000 — Ryan reveals college poem
- $50,000 — Erik watches a 15-minute Aaron Rodgers highlight reel with “I <3 Aaron” shirt
- $60,000 — Jeremy dresses up like Marilyn Monroe
- $75,000 — Jeremy will grow out his hair for an entire year
Once we hit $5,000, it will activate a new challenge that we will try to accomplish at the end of the month, based on how the Detroit Lions perform in the entire month of November (five games). Here’s how it works:
- For Jeremy: For every 15+ yard pass interference penalty in a Lions game, Jeremy will do 10 pushups
- For Ryan: For every Jared Goff TD, Ryan will review a track from Kid Rock’s new album and post it
- For Meko: For every Sione Vaki gain of 10+ yards, Meko will run a mile
Wheel of pain
For every $1,000 that we raise, we’ll spin what we endearingly call the Wheel of Pain. Here’s what last year’s wheel looked like. We’ll have some new stuff this year:
Wheel of EXTREME PAIN
For every $10,000 we raise, we’ll spin a wheel of MORE EXTREME versions of our Wheel of Pain. Current options:
- Smelling salts
- Fart spray in face
- Sour pickle balls
- Spicy gummy bears
While not necessary, I would highly recommend donating and redeeming the above rewards while we’re live on Twitch or YouTube. Here’s when we’re live:
- Monday nights after the game (ETA 6-8 p.m. ET) — sometimes Sunday nights
- Tuesday afternoons or nights for the mailbag podcast
- Saturday mornings for our Madden Sims (10-11:30 a.m. ET)
Marathon stream!
Our Movember campaign will end with a 16-hour marathon stream from 8 a.m. ET to midnight with special guests throughout the day. Previous guests have included:
- ESPN’s Mina Kimes
- ESPN’s Ben Solak
- Detroit Football Network’s Justin Rogers

- MLive’s Ben Raven
- Detroit News’ Nolan Bianchi
