The Pittsburgh Steelers agreed to a one-year deal with defensive lineman Dean Lowry, adding more depth to their defensive line. However, Lowry has decided not to sign with Pittsburgh, at least not today, per Aaron Wilson.
“Veteran defensive lineman Dean Lowry, who agreed to a one-year deal with Steelers previously and is fully medically cleared, not signing today as he continues to work at getting in optimal football shape, per a league source,” Wilson reports.
Lowry suffered a torn ACL in training
camp last summer, causing him to miss the entirety of the 2025 season. He signed with the Steelers in 2024, appearing in 12 games. He has 271 tackles and 16.5 sacks in nine NFL seasons.
