The two newest amenities planned the next step in Barclays Center’s renovation are ready, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment announced on Thursday, releasing images of Gallagher’s Terrace, a new high-end
restaurant and Modelo’s The Bridge, an SRO fan “communal gathering place” at the west end of the arena near the main entrance.
BSE Global described the additions, part of an announced five-year, $100 million upgrade of the 13-year-old arena, this way:
Ahead of the 2025-26 NBA season, Brooklyn Sports & Entertainment (BSE) will debut new premium and fan spaces at Barclays Center as part of its more than $100 million, five-year plan to enhance the guest experience. The latest phase of renovations includes Gallagher Terrace, a premium membership club offering the arena’s only in-seat dining with waiter service, and Modelo® Bridge, an upper concourse fan zone created in partnership with the Official Cerveza of the Brooklyn Nets featuring the most expansive bar at Barclays Center – 67 feet in length – and accessible to all guests.
Barclays Center’s Loge Boxes and sections of the 40/40 Club have been transformed into Gallagher Terrace, a 5,300-square-foot space inspired by Brooklyn’s Gilded Age. Exclusive to 110 guests, the intimate club features banquette seating – a first for the arena – accented with dynamic LED lighting.
Modelo® Bridge, an upper concourse fan zone created in partnership with the Official Cerveza of the Brooklyn Nets featuring the most expansive bar at Barclays Center – 67 feet in length – and accessible to all guests. Both spaces, along with a revamped concourse bar, will transform the west end of Barclays Center,
Gallagher’s Terrace replaces several loge boxes and part of the 40/40 Club. Gallagher Terrace is the only area in Barclays Center to offer an in-seat dining experience with visibility to the game (and waiter service), along with a full-service bar with premium wines, and a team of sommeliers…

Modelo’s The Bridge is likely to become a place for fans to meet up and take in the game. Open to all fans, it will have another purpose, as.
[A]n activation zone for halftime performances, fan contests, and other entertainment. Modelo Bridge features an oversized raised platform shaped like a bridge, inspired by the iconic structures connecting Brooklyn to the rest of New York, complete with artwork from local New York muralists commissioned in partnership with the Mexican beer brand.
Guests can enjoy unobstructed views from two standing-room decks, purchase drinks from the arena’s largest bar, and take in views of Downtown Brooklyn through panoramic windows. The space also includes two new locations where guests can purchase food, merchandise and apparel during Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty games, and other arena events.

The five year plan began last year with the opening of three high-end restaurants, the Crown Club, Toki Row and JetBlue at the Key, the latter two replacing upper level suites. Barclays has never sold out all its suites.
Future projects include upgrading the upper concourse, a new audio system, a new and larger scoreboard and a large sculpture to be hung in the atrium of the main entrance to the arena. The renovation is part of an even larger plan to use Barclays as the centerpiece for a larger entertainment complex that could eventually include a hotel, conference center, marketplace, not unlike LA LIVE!, a billion dollar built around Staples Center in Los Angeles.
