Unlike for our last game, against Ajax Amsterdam, there’s quite a bit of clarity from the WAGNH Community about the lineup preference for today’s game, with only one of the starting XI clocking in at under
70 per cent. Somewhat surprisingly, that one player is young Estêvão, collecting “just” 63 per cent of the vote.
Meanwhile, seven of the eleven broke the 90 per cent barrier, including both midfielders, both full backs, two attackers, and the goalkeeper.
So that leaves central defense, where Trevoh Chalobah returns and Josh Acheampong continues to earn the trust (well ahead of either Tosin or Wesley Fofana, both of whom finished with under 25%), and the rest of the attack, which sees Marc Guiu beat out Alejandro Garnacho (37%) and Jamie Gittens (11%) quite comfortably.
Guiu and JP together? Let’s do it!
4-2-3-1 (84%)
Sánchez (95%) | Cucurella (98%), Chalobah (80%), Acheampong (70%), James (94%) | Enzo (91%), Caicedo (99%) | Estêvão (63%), João Pedro (95%), Neto (91%) | Guiu (74%)
