Real Madrid were back on the training pitch on Wednesday, holding their third session of the week at Valdebebas as they continue to train vigorously throughout the international break.
Xabi Alonso had his available squad working through a series of drills that began with activation work in the gym before moving outside. Once on the pitch, the players focused on warm-ups and pressing exercises, followed by a variety of small-sided games in different formats. The session wrapped up with running work to

Many healthy players who are usually called up to their national teams — Vinicius, Rodrygo, Trent, among others — are in Valdebebas training. In that sense, players like them, along with Carreras and Militao, are afforded the luxury of not playing extra games.
Meanwhile, Jude Bellingham, Eduardo Camavinga, Endrick, and Ferland Mendy continued their individual recovery programs as they work their way back from their respective setbacks.
The league leaders are preparing for their eventual matchday four test at Anoeta, where they’ll face Real Sociedad on Saturday, September 13, with kickoff set for 4:15 p.m. local time.
