The No. 1 ranked player in the NCAA is off the board, according to Top Drawer Soccer.
Today, Denver Summit FC announced that they have signed Stanford star Jasmine Aikey to a two-year contract through 2027 with a mutual option for 2028.
“I’m incredibly excited to join Denver Summit FC and be part of building something new from the ground up,” said Aikey. “This club’s vision and commitment to excellence really stood out to me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to take the next step in my career with
a team that believes in the future of the game. I’m ready to get to work and help set the standard in Denver.”
For the expansion side, they are adding the top player in college who brings has it all: creativity, versatility, and elite talent. She consistently ranked amongst the national leaders in chances created and assists.
“Jasmine is an intelligent, creative forward who has performed at a very high level in one of the best collegiate environments in the country,” said Curt Johnson, General Manager of Denver Summit FC. “She has a great feel for the game, the ability to unlock defenses, and the work rate to impact matches on both sides of the ball. We believe she has the tools to be an important part of our attack as we build this club for the long term.”
Jasmine Aikey could be a cornerstone for the expansion side and one of Denver’s core building blocks moving forward.
