First off, the Seattle Seahawks rookie safety really might be that dude. Physically speaking, 6ft 3in, built like a Commadores song; plus, he’s a RAS legend with
an obviously advancing football acumen. Beefcake smash. Beefcake win awards, like the Rookie of the Week.
Last Sunday’s inter-divisional battle against the Arizona Cardinals was a platform for Emmanwori to showcase his dynamism. He was everywhere, forcing himself on set, hitting record, and reading other people’s lines while the cameras were rolling. Emmanwori had 4 PDs, 5 solo tackles, 1 QB hit, and a half a sack, amongst other undocumented moments of terror. All this while Emmanwori rocks Russ’ old number 3, an odd and magnetic flex that only makes me like him even more.
The potential is quite nearly limitless here with Nick, and his ability to make himself known early and often seems to be another one of his casually elite traits. Quite literally, he could be in the X-Men if he wanted to. And right now, as the season moves forward into it’s crucial coda, Nick Emmanwori is healthy, he is getting up to speed, and he is figuring things out.
