On today’s episode of “Land-Grant Uncut,” we are bringing you unedited audio from Ryan Day’s Tuesday, Oct. 21 press conference from the Woody Hayes Athletic Center. Presumably, since there is no game this weekend, Coach Day kept his media availability to a tight 15 minutes, but did manage to address a number of pressing topics.
Without committing to anything, Day did say that they would evaluate the best option at right guard during the off week, which would seem to indicate that he is at least open to replacing starter Tegra Tshabola with Joshua Padilla.
He also complimented true freshman wide receiver Quincy Porter and said that the starters would need the younger guys to step up more as the season goes on. Day also dove into the off-week plans, Julian Sayin’s growing confidence, and more.
As always, the press conference audio supplied by Ohio State struggles when it comes to media members asking questions. However, the audio quality from the podium is crystal clear.
