The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are still searching for their first win of the season as they prepare to host the undefeated Minnesota Vikings Sunday afternoon at Raymond James Stadium.
Tampa Bay enters Week 3 at 0-2 after last week’s 23-19 loss to the Cleveland Browns, while Minnesota improved to 2-0 following a 9-3 defensive battle against the Chicago Bears. The Vikings also present a difficult matchup defensively, as Brian Flores’ unit has been one of the most aggressive blitzing defenses in football
through the first two weeks.
Minnesota will also have quarterback Kyler Murray back in the lineup after he cleared concussion protocol, adding another challenge for a Buccaneers defense trying to help prevent the team from falling into an 0-3 hole.
Three of our four Bucs Nation staff members are siding with Minnesota this week. Gil sees the Vikings controlling the matchup and coming away with a 26-13 victory, while Mike has Minnesota winning 21-10. Evan also expects a lower-scoring affair, predicting a 20-13 Vikings win.
Will stands alone in backing Tampa Bay. He has the Buccaneers finally breaking through for their first victory of the season with a 22-15 win at home.
