Four fighters have been removed from the UFC roster, and the list includes a bantamweight that lost only one of his six octagon appearances.
Daniel Marcos, 5-1 with one no-contest in his career under the UFC banner, is no longer on the promotion’s roster, MMA Fighting has learned. Lando Vannata, Jamie Mullarkey and Vince Morales are also out.
Marcos (18-1, 1 no-contest) last fought in November, when he tapped out Miles Johns with a rear-naked choke. He has also scored wins over Adrian Yanez, John Castañeda
and Davey Grant in the company, losing only in a decision to Montel Jackson in May 2025.
Vannata (12-8-2) has been in the UFC since stepping in on short notice to face Tony Ferguson in 2016 and delivered fun performances despite winning only four of 14 octagon appearances.
Mullarkey (18-9) also had an overall losing record in the promotion sharing the cage with highly-touted prospects like Mauricio Ruffy and Nasrat Haqparast, and last fought in the UFC in a defeat to Quillan Salkilld this past January.
Morales (16-11) earned his way back to the UFC in 2024 after winning five in a row since his departure in 2022, but went winless in four decisions since then against Colby Thicknesse, Raul Rosas Jr., Elijah Smith and Taylor Lapilus.
