In this conversation with iFL TV, David Adeleye talks a bit about the potential for him to fight Moses Itauma this December with his name being rumored to be in the mix, along with his outlook on returning to the ring after dropping a decision to Filip Hrgovic back in August.
Adeleye on being linked to a possible fight with Itauma in December
“I don’t know. To be honest, I actually don’t know. I think we both got options but yeah, our names been link and everyone’s talking about it so, yeah.
“I’m not shying away from no one. My name’s put forward, as always, welcome
with open arms but like we said, we got a few avenues we can go down, there’s a few options and if it makes sense, it makes sense…Why would it not (make sense for me to take that fight)?”
On whether he feels any consolation for the effort he put up in his loss to Filip Hrgovic
“I didn’t go out there to try to put up a good fight, I’m out there to win…I don’t want to say I don’t take in what the fans say but if you allow them to give you glory you allow them to take it away from you. So just do me, man. Focus on myself, do what I go to do, and move forward. There’s certain goals I want to achieve in this sport before I finish and I’m on my way to doing it.”
