In case you missed it, Carolina Panthers second year edge rusher and fan favorite Nic Scourton has already been ruled out for the year after suffering a torn ACL last week. Scourton was widely expected to start opposite new free agent Jaelen Phillips and feature as a large piece of the Panthers improving pass rush. Now the Panthers have another large void to fill in their front seven and not a ton of proven talent to fill it with.
