The Guardians lost a game they really should have won last night and everything is bad.
Everyone is hating on Jose as he can’t get a hit.
Erik Sabrowski was supposed to be the one reliable pen arm besides Cade Smith and he gave up the crucial double to a guy with a 19 wRC+ against LHP.
Hunter Gaddis pitched well but is getting the usual hate for giving up a 73 mph soft liner single.
Stephen Vogt is getting hate for who knows what reason. I think his decision-making so far has been excellent. But, everyone
is tired of playoff losses. I get it.
Maybe that will change on Wednesday at 4pm.
Around MLB:
The Rays beat the Yankees (yay!). Braves and Dodgers play at 6 PM ET tied 1-1 and the Brewers will try to close out their series against the Padres in San Diego at 9:30PM ET. I wish the Brewers were beating the Braves and the Padres were beating the Dodgers. A potential World Series of Rays vs. Brewers or Padres would be the best non-Guardians outcome for me.
