The Washington Commanders released their final injury report for Sunday’s game against the Eagles on Friday and then made several DL roster moves earlier on Saturday. Daron Payne suffered a season-ending Jones fracture in his left foot during Friday’s practice. The Commanders haven’t placed him on IR, and didn’t activate Jer’Zhan Newton from IR. Veteran DT Byron Cowart was elevated from the practice squad for tonight’s game.
Javon Kinlaw was ruled out on Friday due to a knee injury he suffered against
the 49ers in Week 6. Dan Quinn told reporters on Monday that Kinlaw was unlikely to play this week. His absence along with Payne’s injury will put a big strain on the Commanders defensive line.
