With the 2025/26 season about half gone, it is high time that new kit designs for the following season slowly get leaked out here and there. This time, Adidas actually went above and beyond in releasing their designs by doing so in one giant leak for its most prominent clubs.
According to the good people at Footy Headlines, as captured by @iMiaSanMia, Bayern will be releasing a red home kit, a white away kit, and dark anthracite third kit. But this time, they will go a step further and release a fourth
kit.
Starting with the home kit, the kit features a classic red and white design with subtle dark red pinstripes on the front. Gold trim makes up the rest of the shirt. While the overall look is one that will please many, it remains to be seen how the pinstripes will be received by the fanbase.
The away kit will be white with navy as its detailed colors, and it will feature the Adidas Trefoil logo in lieu of the three stripes. Points of red will also be featured. If the leaked design is to be trusted, this will be the first away kit since the 2019/20 season to not feature a monochromatic Bayern logo.
The third kit will be, as aforementioned, a dark anthracite. For those unfamiliar (this writer had to look it up himself), anthracite is a type of coal, so it can be inferred that the kit will either be a very dark gray or black. The details will be red. The overall look closely resembles the 2022/23 third kit, famously won in the dramatic Bundesliga final matchday when Jamal Musiala shot Bayern to the title.
Now, the fourth kit is where things get interesting. It is quite literally a design that has never before been seen on a Bayern shirt. Here is a closer look.
The shirt seems to be predominantly black with a series of abstract images splashed all over. The pattern would feel right at home at a modern art museum, but on a football kit, it may raise a few eyebrows, to say the least.
That said, it is unclear when, if at all, this kit will be worn. Bayern has released special one-off kits on many occasions, but fourth kits are generally very rare in football as a whole. Whether this will be a substitute for the new Oktoberfest kit or some other special kit remains to be seen.
