The Ducks (29-9, 10-2 Big-10) travel east to face the Maryland Terrapins (14-23, 1-14 Big-10). Maryland occupies the cellar of the Big-10 rankings, and they are dreadfully awful even by Big-10 standards. Even so, we will be watching the status of Oregon pitching as we enter the last month of the season.

Oregon baseball has lost 5 of their last 7 matches. Tristan and I talked about the status of Oregon baseball in our podcast earlier this week, and I still see this as a litmus test of where this team is. They Ducks are capable of a series win against the Huskers, but can they actually do it? This will be a compelling weekend of college baseball unless the Ducks play poorly (which I do not foresee – fingers crossed).
