Maryland field hockey players Alyssa Klebasko, Josie Hollamon and Maci Bradford have been called up to the United States team for the Junior World Cup.
The United States’ U-21 national team qualified for the tournament with their runner-up performance at the 2024 Junior Pan American Championship. Klebasko and Bradford were part of that team, but Hollamon is a new entry to the age bracket. Maryland is the only
school represented by three players on the American national team.
The United States will face off against group members New Zealand, Korea and Uruguay across the first week of December before potentially moving into quarterfinal games on Dec. 8. All matches will be played at National Stadium Sports Park in Santiago, Chile.
