The Braves now have a magic number of 1 for the division title and it would take a collapse of truly epic proportions for them to lose the division at this point. While they do of course have to avoid that collapse, it’s fair to say that they can turn their eyes to the postseason and prioritize lining things up optimally for their playoff appearance. Lean on non-playoff starters a little longer to preserve the bullpen, lean on those low leverage arms a bit more, give your stars a day or two off.
