The Hardys battled Team 3D in one final match at TNA Bound For Glory (Oct. 12, 2025). As appropriate, they competed in a ladder match. The legends put on a great show in a fitting way to close the rivalry.
This legends match was all about delivering nostalgic excitement. The Hardys and Team 3D played the classics.
Bully Ray and D-Von entered first in their throwback gear carrying tables. Something was missing though. Team 3D waved in Spike Dudley to hand them glasses.
The Hardys arrived next to spice up the match with a chair and a ladder.
The rules for winning the tables match was to drive both opponents through a table. Team 3D brought the thunder early for a 3D to Matt Hardy.
Followed by the Wassup to Jeff Hardy.
Get the tables! Team 3D executed their signature teamwork special to plant Jeff through a table.
The match continued with a blast from the past by Jeff. He climbed the tall ladder for a swanton landing on D-Von through tables.
With D-Von laid out, Bully put up a fight alone, but the numbers were too much. Matt unleashed two consecutive Twists of Fate. The Hardys whacked a couple of chair shots to Bully’s back. After a tense staredown, Bully accepted his fate. The Hardys slammed Bully through the table to win.
After the match, Team 3D unlaced their boots and handed them over the Hardys as a gesture of respect. The four legends shared a group hug.
Also of note, the TNA World Tag Team Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship were both on the line. The Hardys retained. Those titles weren’t really driving the story. It was just a side note to the story of legends.
The Hardys and Team 3D battled for nearly 15 minutes. The atmosphere was electric the entire time. These legends gave the people what they wanted with high spots and signature moments. The Hardys and Team 3D delivered an entertaining match that served its purpose for this stage in their careers. It was a match they can be proud of.
