The Portland Trail Blazers have no picks in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft. The draft class is rumored to be deep. Portland could use talent. But the Blazers owe their first-round pick to the Chicago Bulls and their second-rounder to the San Antonio Spurs (where it will no doubt be promoted to a Top 4 overall pick by some amazing quirk of fate), so the cupboard is bone dry.
That doesn’t prevent Portland from trading into the draft, of course. This week SBNation asked NBA fans whether or not they thought
buying in was on the table in the Pacific Northwest. Here are the results of that poll:
As you can see, roughly half of respondents thought the Blazers would sit out the proceedings. Fewer than 1 in 5 thought a trade for a first-round pick was in the offing.
