AEW’s big Dynasty pay-per-view (PPV) is in the books. Sun., April 12’s show from Vancouver closed with Maxwell Jacob Friedman using his trusty Dynamite Diamond Ring to beat a game Kenny Omega, and keep his World championship.
That wrapped up an event that, including the Zero Hour pre-show, featured 12 total matches. There were only two new champions produced out of the eight title matches on the card, one of which was guaranteed because it was for the vacant TNT title. But we also got a new #1 contender
for MJF, and saw many pieces of the picture for AEW’s big summer start to come into focus.
