It’s been a whirlwind few days for World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins.
First, he traveled all the way to Australia, where he defeated WWE Champion Cody Rhodes for the first time ever in WWE in the main
event of Crown Jewel in Perth. Then, the very next day, he had his stablemates in The Vision, Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and even Paul Heyman, turn against him, leaving him laid out.
Breakker even took his world heavyweight title belt!
Now, a report from PW Insider reveals Rollins suffered an injury during his match with Rhodes:
The belief is Rollins hurt his left shoulder landing while executing the coast to coast dive towards the upside down Cody Rhodes, who was hanging in the turnbuckles.
They go on to say the extent of the injury is unknown, and he will undergo tests in the coming days to determine the severity of it. He has been seen sporting a sling, however.
When it rains it pours, I guess.
For its part, WWE hasn’t mentioned anything officially, nor have they done any story updates related to an injury after the attack on Raw.
We’ll keep you updated as word on Rollins’ status comes in.
