Gage Wood made his professional debut last night in Clearwater.
Wood is going to be remembered for his performance in the College World Series when he threw a no-hitter in Omaha for Arkansas. He threw a bunch of pitches in that game, the ending to a season in which he had a few nicks here and there. Likely that the team simply wants him to get on a routine to end the season, maybe get a few innings
under his belt.
A good start for him.
