Twenty three Chelsea players traveled to Bergamo on Monday, and eleven of them will be selected to start the match against Atalanta tomorrow night in the league phase of the Champions League. But actually, only ten of the eleven need to be decided. Moisés Caicedo is sure to start since he’s missed our last two (Premier League) games through suspension and also won’t be able to play this weekend due to the same suspension.
So, ten others to pick, from twenty two.
It’s a slightly smaller squad than expected
as Cole Palmer was left back at Cobham. It’s not a “Home Alone” situation: he’s not injured, but he’s not fully fit.
“Cole, it’s part of his process at the moment. He is not available, he can’t play two games in three days, so we planned this and it’s a way to protect him.“

Liam Delap, Levi Colwill, Dário Essugo, and Roméo Lavia are out injured and thus also did not travel.
