The New York Jets lost 13 – 6 at home to the Carolina Panthers on Sunday. It was the seventh straight Jets loss to open this season. The Jets offense managed just 220 yards of total offense and six points. Down a touchdown with the ball on their own 14 yard line and less than three minutes to play, the Jets couldn’t manage a first down, let alone a game tying touchdown. They went down, not with a bang, but a whimper. The atrocious Jets offense squandered a second straight good
performance by a resurgent Jets defense. It’s becoming difficult to find new ways to say this team sucks.
