It’s finally here!
The inaugural edition of The Seahawks Syndicate is coming to you from, uh, our homes. Yours truly, Bryce Coutts (The Hawk’s Eye podcast and Field Gulls staff), Dan Viens (Seahawks Forever podcast and former Field Gulls podcast host), and Brandon Cain (The Hawk’s Nest podcast) are reunited after our live meet-up in Seattle for the start of our monthly live-streamed series. Expect to see us on the final Wednesday of every month talking all things Seahawks.
As you might expect, Episode
1 will be diving into the Seahawks’ initial (and since quickly adjusted) 53-man roster, as well as their initial practice squad. We’ll also be discussing expectations for what Jalen Milroe’s involvement with the first-team offense will look like in the regular season, and more.
Tonight’s topics
- Seahawks Tuesday roster cuts and other transactions from Wednesday, most notably the decision to cut Shaquill Griffin and claim Derion Kendrick off waivers.
- Details on the Seahawks practice squad, which for the moment has exclusively Seahawks preseason players on it, but that may not last much longer.
- Former Seahawks around the NFL following cutdown day
- State of the Seahawks roster: How good is this roster? And how about how young the roster is?
- Jalen Milroe’s performance vs. Packers, and what’s planned for him in the regular season
- Looking ahead to Week 1 against the San Francisco 49ers
