The Portland Trail Blazers continue to fill up their 2027 Training Camp roster, making Exhibit 10 signings with players expected to end up on the G League’s Rip City Remix roster. The Oregonian’s Joe Freeman reported yesterday that Portland signed Mark Sears and Barry Dunning Jr. to Exhibit 10 deals: single-year, non-guaranteed contracts that allow a team to evaluate a player. These contracts can be converted to two-way contracts should the team desire.
Dunning, Jr. played five games with the Denver
Nuggets Summer League team this year, scoring 2.6 points in 9.5 minutes per game. The 6’6 guard played four years with the Pittsburgh Panthers in the NCAA.
Sears played 7 games for the Milwaukee Bucks last year on a two-way contract. He averaged 3.1 points in 3.7 minutes while shooting 50% from the three-point arc. The 6’0 guard played five years in college for Ohio and Alabama.
