According to a report from Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg (as captured by @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich is already talking to representatives for Hoffenheim striker Fisnick Asllani.
The 23-year-old Kosovo international has been a breakout star in the Bundesliga this season and has absolutely caught the eye of many clubs — including the Bavarians. Per Plettenberg, Bayern Munich is going to continue to watch Asllani’s development:
After Fisnik Asllani was still ‘only’ on the shortlist of FC Bayern 3-4
weeks ago, there have already been initial talks in the meantime. Eberl & Freund find his development exciting and he is being monitored.
Asllani will come onto the market in the summer with a relatively modest exit clause. He would be willing to develop behind Kane. Bayern has already dealt with Asllani once in the youth sector.
Asllani has six goals and three assists in 12 games across all competitions so far this season and has a contract that runs through 2029. He currently makes an annual salary with of €1,890,000 with a bonus structure of €470,000.
For Bayern Munich, Asllani could be the striker of the future or simply Harry Kane’s backup.
So…should Bayern Munich go for this acquisition — and if so, how should the club use him?
