We interrupt the regular playoffs programming with some offseason news. The schedule for the California Classic showcase has been released, and the Spurs will once again be a part of the event.
The Warriors will host the event in San Francisco at the Chase Center from July 3 to July 6. The Heat and the Nets will also take part in the showcase that precedes the Las Vegas Summer League, providing fans with the first opportunity to see recent draft picks and young players. The Kings will also host a dual
Summer League in Sacramento featuring the Bucks, Nets, and the Warriors.
San Antonio will participate for the fifth time in a row in the California Classic. The Spurs will face Miami on July 3, Golden State on July 5, and Los Angeles on July 6.
The Spurs have a first-round pick in the 2026 draft who could potentially take part in the event. Last year, Carter Bryant suited up while Dyland Harper was in attendance but couldn’t participate due to injury. The standout of the showcase was David Jones-Garcia, who ended up earning a two-way deal with his play in both summer leagues.
