It is rare nowadays for Athletic Commissions to release payouts and salaries for Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) athletes, but California still does. This means we have accurate information on how much UFC fighters made at UFC Fight Night: “Hernandez vs. Rodrigues,” which took place yesterday inside Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California.
Main event winner Gregory Rodrigues took home the second biggest paycheck at $340,000 (although he banked an extra 100k for winning ‘Fight of the Night’).
Anthony Hernandez, who lost a unanimous decision to Rodrigues, walked away with $170,000.
Newly UFC Light Heavyweight Reinier de Ridder took home the biggest paycheck at $360,000 for stopping Roman Dolidze in the very first round in the ‘Featured Fight’ of the night (watch highlights). Dolidze banked $180,000.
Another notable big payday was Kennedy Nzechukwu, who walked away with $105,000 for his brutal knockout loss (watch highlights) at the hands of Shamil Gaziev, who scored $100,000.
