While nothing can top what was one of the best World Series games in the history of the Fall Classic, another manger opening was filled over the past 48 hours. The Orioles hired former Cleveland Guardians
coach Craig Albernaz as their next manager. Albernaz was a popular target for teams with current managerial openings, and he landed in what many may consider to be one of the more attractive spots with Baltimore.
Of course, not much has been revealed about the Braves own search for their next manager. David O’Brien was the latest to speculate that the Braves could be waiting to speak further with current Dodgers bench coach Danny Lehmann about the opening. Lehmann has continued to be a popular potential target for the Braves, so time will tell if he ultimately is the man for the job.
