Harry Kane has quickly developed an appreciation for what Michael Olise brings to Bayern Munich, both on and off the pitch. While the France international’s ability with the ball has been evident since his arrival in Munich, Kane believes Olise’s personality is just as valuable to the team.
Speaking about his Bayern Munich teammate, Kane offered a glowing assessment of the winger.
“He’s such a good character. An amazing player. Everyone has a unique way of playing football and conducting themselves
off the pitch. It’s a joy to play alongside him,” Kane said (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Kane has played alongside some of the best attacking players in the world throughout his career, but Olise has clearly made an impression on Bayern Munich’s No. 9.
Olise’s creativity, technical ability and willingness to take players on have made him an important part of Vincent Kompany’s attack. His ability to operate in multiple attacking positions has also given Kompany additional flexibility, while his growing understanding with Kane could become increasingly important as the season progresses.
For Kane, however, it is not simply about what Olise can produce during matches. The striker also appreciates the personality behind the performances, and that combination is one reason playing alongside Olise has become such a joy for Bayern Munich’s star striker.
