Florida State University champion Taylor Suarez has signed a three-year contract with Angel City FC, the club announced today.
The midfielder arrived in California after completing her sophomore year and
following the 2025 NCAA season, during which she became a college champion.
“Angel City is built on purpose and passion. I’m extremely grateful to be part of an organization and fan base that believes in one another and stands for something bigger than the game,” said Suarez. “We are united by the same goal, to bring championships to LA, and I’ll give everything I have to help turn that dream into reality.”
The former Seminole helped not only to win the 2025 NCAA title but also the 2024 ACC Tournament Championship. During the two years she spent with the Seminoles, she played 36 matches, started 26 of those games, netted eight goals, and registered 14 assists. At the individual level, Suarez was named to the Second Team All-ACC, included in the NCAA Tournament All-Tournament Team, and earned Second Team All-American honors.
“Taylor has been one of the most impactful attackers in the college game, playing for 2025 National Champion Florida State, and we couldn’t be happier to bring her to Angel City,” said ACFC Sporting Director Mark Parsons. “She is a very dynamic attacker who can punish opponents through combination play or on the dribble. We are excited to bring a young talent of this quality and look forward to her creativity in an Angel City jersey for years to come.”
Besides her collegiate career, she also competed with the U-17 USWNT, participating in the 2022 Concacaf Women’s U-17 Championship and the 2022 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup. Two years later, she competed at the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup, where she won a bronze medal.
