Raphinha’s wife Natalia Belloli has backed the Barcelona star to ‘return like a Phoenix’ after seeing her husband ruled out once again with a hamstring injury.
The 29-year-old has been sidelined at World Cup 2026, with Brazil confirming he’s suffered a muscle injury and will now undergo “intensive treatment.”
It’s not known if Raphinha will play again at the World Cup, but his wife has posted a lengthy message on social media and paid tribute to her husband.
“I know the man behind the athlete. I know his
character, his humility, his discipline and the love he has for football and Brazil,” she wrote.
“I know the sleepless nights, the demands he places on himself and the weight he carries every time he steps on the field representing millions of people and we are grateful, we dream of this!
“You see a player. I see a human being. I am so proud of you, my love, because you are tireless and unstoppable. And you will return like a phoenix, as you always have.
“Because those who love and admire you respect your journey and recognize all the lives that have been touched and blessed by the sweat of your labor. Because there is bread for everyone, it just needs to be divided.”
Brazil play again at World Cup 2026 against Scotland on Wednesday but will of course be without Raphinha due to his latest injury setback.
