This is a rather busy week for me. I have the MS Ride this weekend, I’ve raised $3602 for MS, putting me #21 of 361 riders this year. I’m very lucky to have generous friends. But, we’ve had a ton of rain in the last month, and I’ve messed up my foot, so I haven’t gotten enough rides in. I was hoping to be in better shape going into the ride, but such is life. I’m sure I can do the ride.
Right now, the weather forecast for the days of the ride do not look good. I’m a fair weather bike rider, I don’t
like to ride in the rain, but for the ride this weekend, I’ll make an acceptation.
So we are going to have an Open Thread today (and likely tomorrow as well).
As usual, use the thread to talk about anything you’d like, baseball related or not, keeping within site rules.
Maybe you want to talk about the World Cup. I’ve enjoyed the games I’ve seen. Especially the Team Canada win. I’m also cheering for England, since, as a Jays fan, I’m used to a large amount of heart break.
