Rumors for the Day:
- Fightful Select notes that they were told “at least one source we spoke to at ESPN ‘wasn’t thrilled’” by McMahon doing an ad read for a VPN on her podcast, though it isn’t expected to be turned into a big deal.
- Not surprisingly, PW Insider says Roman Reigns was written off TV at Clash in Paris to go film Street Fighter. He’s currently scheduled to be filming through all of September.
- Per Fightful, Brock Lesnar was spotted in Canada this past week. He wasn’t planned for Clash in Paris but is still scheduled for multiple SmackDown shows and Wrestlepalooza.
- Will Ospreay is “likely out for a long time,” and Swerve Strickland is “out for some time,” per Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
- Trey Miguel posted to his Instagram that he is cleared and that we will see him soon.
