Barcelona are being linked with a move to bring back Ez Abde in the summer transfer window in place of Marcus Rashford.
According to ESPN, Barcelona “have added Abde to their list of attacking targets” and think that he “perfectly fits” what they are looking for as he has “pace but also the ability and trickery to beat an opponent.”
Abde left Barcelona for Real Betis 2023 but the Catalan giants still hold 20% of his rights and there has been speculation he could move on this summer.
Rashford’s future
at Barcelona continue to be uncertain as we head towards the end of his loan. Barca have the option to make it permanent but don’t seem too keen on paying €30 million to trigger his buy option.
Meanwhile, Manchester United do not seem interested in negotiating another loan with Barcelona and are said to be confident of finding another buyer if the Catalans pull out.
Abde has eight goals and seven assists for Betis this season and obviously knows Barcelona well from his previous stint with the club.
