The Notre Dame Fighting Irish have slowly climbed back up the rankings, and are now ranked #9 in the country in the college football playoff rankings after dismantling Navy, 49-10. Notre Dame travels to
#22 Pittsburgh this week to take on the Pitt Panthers with ESPN’s College Gameday covering the entire circus. Despite “Top 25 Matchup” tag and the extra attention this week, the Irish are still a 12.5 point favorite on the road.
It’s playoff football every week for the Irish moving forward, and there is no room for error.
