What is the story about?

The Denver Broncos are on a four game win streak and have taken the AFC West lead after beating the Kansas City Chiefs at home last week. They’ll be on the road in Week 9 to take on a feisty Carolina Panthers squad. The Panthers defense struggles at times, but their offense can hand with anyone when hot. Denver has to be careful not to fall into autopilot mode. Any given Sunday is a phrase for a reason.

Broncos vs. Panthers score prediction

This could be a ‘let down’ game. I called it a ‘trap’ game at first, but realized that is used when a team is looking ahead and not focusing on the game right in front of them. That’s not the case with the bye week, so I think the term I should have used was the ‘let down’ game. Coming off a huge, emotional home win against a bitter division rival to play a team everyone expects you to roll. That is the ‘let down’ to a T. While I expect the score to be close, I think Denver pulls away and keeps their win streak alive.

Not as many participated in our feed post this week, but it is just an inter-conference game and not for the AFC West lead. Our collective average final score came was Broncos 30, Panthers 16. That’s a convincing two-score win on the road. We take those every time.
