This week in our Reacts question, we asked how the preseason affected your confidence in the 2025 Tennessee Titans. 55% of you said the preseason increased your confidence in this team.
That’s how I voted. Of course, I came into the preseason with pretty much non-existent expectations. I was a fan of the Cam Ward pick, but as I said numerous times, I’m not getting too high or too low on him until I see what he does when the games actually matter.
With that being said, his performance so far has certainly
been encouraging. He has done and said all of the right things. His preseason was encouraging. There were some rookie mistakes, but there were also some big-time throws.
One word of caution: if Sunday doesn’t go well, don’t jump ship. Cam Ward is facing a very good Denver Broncos defense on the road for his first NFL start. There’s a common saying out there, “Week 1 is a liar.”
