UFC 335 has taken a hit after losing a pivotal women’s flyweight matchup.
Multiple people with knowledge of the promotion’s plans confirmed to MMA Fighting that Maycee Barber is out of her scheduled matchup with Carli Judice on the Dec. 12 fight card in Las Vegas for undisclosed reasons. Kevin K first reported the news on Twitter.
As of now, the current plans is to rebook the bout to a later date, as the situation is slated as a “postponement” and not a cancellation.
Barber only gets the one fight in
2026 after having her seven-fight win streak snapped by Alexa Grasso with one of the most ferocious finishes in promotional history at UFC Seattle in March. “The Future” was coming off of an emotional decision win over Karine Silva at UFC 323 in December, which served as her first fight in nearly two years after overcoming a barrage of health issues.
Judice will have to wait for her chance to face her biggest test to date in Barber. The Louisiana-based fighter is on a four-fight win streak, including three Performance of the Night award-winning finishes of Jeisla Chaves, Nicolle Caliari and Yuneisy Duben.
UFC 335 is headlined by a BMF title fight between Charles Oliveira and Diego Lopes.
