Paris Saint-Germain are reportedly hoping to sign exciting Barcelona youngster Juan Hernandez on a free transfer when his contract at the club expires in 2026.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the 18-year-old
has caught the eye of the Ligue 1 side after impressing for Juliano Belletti’s team.
Hernandez has been a virtual ever present for Barcelona Atletic this season, and Luis Enrique reportedly sees him as an “ideal fit” for his team.
Hernandez does have a €6 million buyout clause in his contract, but PSG could simply wait until the end of the season when his contract expires to snap him up on a free transfer.
It’s thought that there have been initial talks about a new contract with Barcelona but nothing more than that, athough whether PSG’s interest may change that situation remains to be seen.
Chelsea and Manchester United were both linked with Hernandez in the summer but nothing came of that interest. The teenager then spent time with the first team in pre-season but was not part of the tour to Asia.
