It’s that time of the week again! Time to snuggle up and enjoy this week’s cob nominations.
BYU
The Cougars were feely feisty about their big win over Notre Dame but what seems to be a trend this year is a team falling flat a week after a big win.
Iowa
The Gophers seem to turn it up a notch when it’s a rivalry game. The Floyd of Rosedale returns to Minnesota.
USC
The Trojans played that they were lactose intolerant in America’s Dairyland. Badger fans are jumping around after a big win at home.
Tennessee
The Vols were flying high after a big emotional, win over Alabama. However, then they met LaNorris Sellers in Columbia.
Texas Tech
What happened to the Red Raiders here? It didn’t seem like they were prepared for this game at all.
We have a stunning selection of cob nominations for Week 8 of College Football but unfortunately you can only pick one.
Since you can’t embed polls on SB Nation anymore, please click here to vote for your Week 8 Cob Nomination.
The winner of last week’s cob nomination was Kimari Robinson with five votes. Texas runners up with three votes. Penn Special Teams with two votes, Georgia received one vote and surprisingly Temple and Oklahoma Special Teams received zero votes.
BONUS
Grab of the week was on a Tuesday.
How many people can say they pinned their first ever punt on the 1-yard line.
Hawkeyes getting tricky…
MACTION gonna MACTION
Probably the craziest onside kick recovery I’ve ever seen.
Wild finish in Lawrence!
This is a horrible way to lose a football game.
I’m a fan of this.
Also a fan of this.
Last but not least…
