We’ve got a little while to wait before the Minnesota Vikings hit the field on this Sunday, and as you know, that can only mean one thing around these parts.
Yes, it is. . .for the third time in four weeks to start this season. . .a modified, limited, RED ZONE SUNDAY here at your favorite Minnesota Vikings website, where we can hang out for a while and watch the rest of the league while we wait for our game to get going.
Why is this thing up so darn early, you might ask? Well, because we have our first
International Series game of the year today, as the Indianapolis Colts and Washington Commanders are getting together today at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. That game is going to kick off at 8:30 AM Central, so if any of you folks are already up and going to be watching, you can hang out here and talk about it.
(I’m going to be asleep because, well, it’s Sunday, but you do you.)
For everyone else, here are the broadcast maps for the early window from the folks at 506 Sports. Remember, CBS has the doubleheader this week, so if your local FOX affiliate is showing the Dolphins/Vikings game this afternoon, you will NOT have a game on FOX in the early window. That will be the orange area on the FOX map below.
Games on FOX (all early except orange area)
- Red: Los Angeles Rams at Philadelphia Eagles – Kevin Burkhardt, Tom Brady
- Blue: Dallas Cowboys at Houston Texans – Kenny Albert, Greg Olsen
- Green: Green Bay Packers at Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Chris Myers, Jonathan Vilma
- Yellow: New York Jets at Chicago Bears – Tim Brando, Drew Brees
Look at that. . .you can avoid the Packers and Jonathan Vilma at the same time. A blessing, well and truly.
Early Games on CBS
- Red: New England Patriots at Buffalo Bills – Ian Eagle, Ross Tucker
- Blue: Arizona Cardinals at New York Giants – Spero Dedes, Adam Archuleta
- Green: Jacksonville Jaguars at Cincinnati Bengals – Tom McCarthy, Robert Turbin
- Yellow: Tennessee Titans at Baltimore Ravens – Chris Lewis, Luke Kuechly
Our game kicks off at around 3:00 PM Central, so the Open Thread for that will be dropping at around 2:30 PM Central Time. Keep an eye out for that one, and we hope to see you there when it starts!
