Barcelona have made it know they intend to make a high-profile center-back signing next, with plenty of big names already linked for the upcoming January transfer window.
Signing big stars in January has always been difficult, however, and the Catalans could choose to wait one more window to go after a very exciting prospect in 23-year-old Castello Lukeba from RB Leipzig.
Lukeba recently changed agents and reportedly dreams of a move to Camp Nou, and a transfer out of Leipzig next summer for a €65
million price appears all but guaranteed.
The Frenchman seems to tick all the boxes with his height, power, pace, passing, and the ability to play at left-back when needed, and Barça may well choose to stick with their current defensive options to make a serious play for Lukeba ahead of next season.
