The Las Vegas Raiders’ losta 35-21 home game to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday Let’s review how their wide receivers fared:
Tre Tucker
Tucker played a season high 82 percent of the offensive snaps. He was targeted a whopping 12 times. He had five catches for 103 yards. He had a 41-yard catch and he had four catches of 40 plus yards, which is tied for the league high. Tucker has 10 catches for 200 yards and three touchdowns in the past two games. Consistency has been his issue. It’s good to see this
continued production.
Jalen Nailor:
The starter played 75 percent of the snaps. He had two catches for 14 yards on five targets. Nailor has eight catches for 75 yards on 20 targets this season after signing three-year, $35 million deal.
Cody White:
White played 17 snaps. He had one catch for four yards on three targets.
Malik Benson
The rookie sixth-round pick played a season low three snaps. He was targeted once without a catch. He has two catches on nine targets for 12 yards this season.
Dareke Young:
He played three offensive snap. He didn’t have any targets.
Conclusion:
As has been their recent trend, the Raiders threw more to their tight ends and running backs than their receivers. But it got closer. Kirk Cousins threw to his receivers 21 of 44 targets, which is an increase from the previous three games. Tucker is the clear focus of the current group, but help is coming. Dont’e Thornton has been activated from the injured reserve and Jack Bech’s 21-day practice window from the injured reserve has begun.
