Barcelona are set to wave goodbye to Dani Rodriguez shortly as the youngster is set to complete a permanent transfer to Dinamo Zagreb,
According to Fabrizio Romano, the youngster has agreed the deal but Barcelona have agreed to insert a buy-back clause which means he could potentially return at some point.
Rodriguez is a highly-rated La Masia graduate but has decided to move on in search of regular game time. The forward can’t see a clear pathway into the first team at Camp Nou at present as he plays
in the same position as Lamine Yamal.
Rodriguez had seemed almost certain to make the breakthrough into the first team not so long ago but he’s had some really bad luck with injuries.
He made his first-team debut against Real Valladolid in 2025 but ended up being forced off with a dislocated shoulder that subsequently required surgery.
The 20-year-old was linked with a move to Dinamo Zagreb in the January window but ended up staying in Catalunya.
However, he is now heading to Croatia where he will hope he can continue his development and make an impact in the first team.
