Bad blood is boiling between TNA and NXT. Aggressions need to be settled after a crew of NXT goons invaded Impact and Turning Point last week. The power players arranged a series of matches to settle the score, which includes the Hardys defending the TNA tag titles.
During Impact (Nov. 20, 2025), the drama started with Mike Santana. He had the moment of his life winning the TNA World Championship to celebrate with his daughter. Santana also passed 1,000 days sober. The good times came crashing down
when NXT attacked and Frankie Kazarian won the world title. Santana was not in a good headspace to compete at Turning Point. He realized that the fans paid hard-earned money, and they deserve better than him skipping out. The fans believed in him when others didn’t. The title will belong to Santana again in the near future. But first, he is going to handle those NXT boys. Santana threatened to take them out one by one.
Santino Marella couldn’t figure out how NXT got past security at Turning Point. Santino decided to change his strategy to open the doors wide for those hooligans. Steve Maclin and the Hardys offered to use their championships as bait.
Robert Stone, Tyson DuPont, Tyriek Igwe, Charlie Dempsey, Stacks, Brooks Jensen, and Lexis King responded. They accused TNA of coming to NXT to throw the first punch. They are repaying the favor, only better. This crew is done waiting. They are taking opportunities.
And with that, Santino consulted Ava to announce a series of matches between TNA and NXT.
In two weeks on Impact, it will be Home Town Man versus Jensen, Santana versus Stone, and an 8-man tag between Hardys, Maclin, & Cedric Alexander versus King, Stacks, Dupont, & Igwe.
At the Final Resolution event on December 5, it will be Santana versus Dempsey, the Hardys versus Dupont & Igwe for the TNA tag titles, and Maclin versus Stacks for the TNA international title.
Leave it to Santino to mispronounce all the names.
That should be a fun series. Santana is going to murder Stone. I’m surprised Robbie E agreed to that massacre.
